Located in a historic residence in Des Moines, this project transforms a former office into a fully realized primary suite—complete with a serene bedroom, tailored closet, and spa-like bath. Every element was designed to feel intentional and enduring. We introduced architectural detailing that feels original to the home, layered with elevated finishes and custom storage solutions that support modern living. The closet functions as both a dressing experience and an extension of the suite, while the bathroom offers a refined, calming atmosphere with carefully selected materials and soft, ambient lighting. Overlooking the client’s backyard garden, the suite is grounded in natural light and quiet views—creating a private escape that feels both connected and completely removed.
